Nick Helm

I am passionate about enabling people to dance their dream, God’s dream. Primarily I do this through spiritual direction and spiritual direction formation programmes. Ignatian wisdom has been and remains a significant help in my engagement with the deepest realities of life and how I choose and live.

I'm a retired Anglican Priest having been Spirituality Advisor in Sheffield and Hereford Dioceses. I've been active in spiritual direction formation for over 25 years and was involved in the production of the Retreat Association Guidelines for Spiritual Direction and Guidance for Spiritual Direction Formation Programmes. The development of the Forum has been a significant commitment, a huge privilege to help build a way of supporting the ministry of spiritual direction, and seeking to encourage good practice.

I'm South African by birth, a father and grandfather. Other involvements of mine include being Chair of the Coach House Kilmuir Trust, a council member of the Society of Retreat Conductors and a member of the Annunciation Trust.
