Henriette Howarth

Originally from The Netherlands, I now live in Yorkshire where I coordinate spiritual direction for the Diocese of Leeds and am an Anglican priest serving in Bradford Cathedral. I received my spiritual direction formation more than 20 years ago in Birmingham and I haven’t stopped learning and growing within this particular vocation. I coordinate and deliver the Leeds Spiritual Direction Formation Programme and learn as much from the ’students’ and co-tutors as they hopefully learn from me. I love people and their stories and am particularly interested in supporting those who go through big changes and transitions, reflecting on how this relates to spiritual growth and transformation. We lived in India for 5 years and I am joyfully committed to learning from other faith traditions as well as being rooted deeply in the Christian and Biblical tradition.
